He told me about girls and how they’re all the same.
They’re all gold diggers and love to play games.
They toy with his mind. Want money and not time.
He then went on to tell me how good girls are hard to find.
And he’s so sick of falling for what a girl pretends to be
‘I wish they’d be less of a bitch and more of a friend to me’
I sat back and listened hoping that he’d have an epiphany
And see the girl he was lookin for was right here within me
He’ll realize I was here the entire time waiting patiently
He’ll say ‘wow love was in my face all along waiting for me’
And finally we could live happily ever after together
Sure it hasn’t happened yet but I’ll hold onto this fantasy forever
Or maybe things could take a turn for the worst
And I could end up with the dude that realized it first

Everyone has been in this situation Im sure. They never know what’s in front of them. It’s like they secretly believe it doesn’t exist or something.

from twitter to your blog…….I’m trying to be a “friend” not a “stalker”. lol
Nice poem. I can relate all I read are tweets about “guys suck” , while I work and have no drama to offer
…..but I have to say (as a man) it’s been my experience , that what you show the world is what they like about you. So if all you get is “gold diggers” it’ s probably because you are always flashing/bragging your riches.
Me, I do well as far as money….but keep it simple….I let people in more on my musical abilities and warped sense of humor…thus the type of females I attract…no gold diggers.

Umm… Maybe a show about your experiences w/ Love.
If the guy in the poem is an actual person, it would be interesting to see your pursuit of him, and if he will eventually comes to his damn senses…

This poem is so true…I think maybe I’ve been guilty of this before from the other side though. Hmmm.
