Loved this post. Im just getting through the "nomadic" period of my life. Im actually still camped out on my friends couch. I've moved all around.. ATL to DMV.. Back and forth for a few years. Granted I loved the different scenery, but the fact that I had to lose things along the way is lowkey depressing. Clothes, friends, money .. you name it I lost it . But I gained life experience. The "beautiful struggle" (( as the person above calls it )) is character building.
Thank you for writing this. Ive been trying to put those same feelings into words.

Lifestyle of a Hippie lol!! keep on writing!!

I tried commenting on your video but it said my comment was too long -_- So here goes lol:

Since you're in MD, why not try visiting all the museums/memorial sites in DC? I lived there for 4 years and I only visited a few & I regret not exploring the city's history more. You should definitely try paddle boating on the Potomac when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Super cheesy romantic stuff.

Some more ideas that may or may not be kinda lame but still do-able:

-- Buy coffee for a stranger
-- Hold a scary insect/animal (spider, snake, rat, etc.)
-- Grow your own mini-garden in your kitchen/backyard
-- Take a self-defense/boxing class
-- Make a costume from scratch (bonus: Win a Halloween costume contest)
-- Find the longest book you can find & read it in a set amount of days
-- Visit a haunted house (with friends, of course. Unless you think you can do it alone lol)
-- Prank a telemarketer when they call you
-- Take a dance class

Sorry if that's not what you're looking for lol. I hope you achieve everything on your list!

This post is reassurance of why I follow you on Twitter - you're a real person with REAL issues. You can shed all your layers, become vulnerable and tell everyone what you're feeling, which is more than likely how they feel but won't articulate on it; for fear of not being socially accepted.

Keep doing what you do girl. Don't censor yourself for their convenience. You have the right to Freedom of Speech && Expression. Just as they do.. what they choose to do with it is a-whole-nother story.

I'm glad that I haven't really encountered people who are like that. Or maybe I'm just old now and all my friends are 'post the good along with the bad' types. Who knows?

I prefer to just see the real. Good, bad, boring, fun. Doesn't matter to me. I try not to judge.
