Saturday, me and the other half went to some, erm.. “thing” and then proceeded to hit up some supposedly ‘new ‘ club in The City called Gramercy Room. In all actuality, it’s just the old Strata… and it’s lame. I mean, sure, Strata used to be poppin back then but it got played out and not even a quick name change can save it. We didn’t exactly feel like flickin it up in that wack ass club so just deal with these ‘before’ pics. I’m sure there are ones at the actual club floating on one of those picture sites but eh, I just don’t feel like searching.

oh and here’s a cell pic for the fun of it.

Real Update Coming Soon.

I Promise.

Greenhouse

After a bangin ass dinner at Pon Con Todo the other day, my older sister and I decided to hit up a club in the City that neither of us has been to yet since she knew a few people, that knew a few other people, that could get us VIP treatment. I was not disappointed. Except for being one of the few they picked out of the line to actually card; I’m so sick of looking 16! Greenhouse might be replacing Sol as my new favorite spot in New York. -Whoa! Press the breaks; time to investigate- LoL. Ok but seriously, that place was rockin. I might’ve spent half the night just hypnotized by the lights and the scenery. The DJ was on point too. Playing mad old biggie shit.

Sidenote: I realized at an early age that although I had a strong passion for music, I just couldn’t sing, which of course, killed me. Do you know how hard it is to have a passion for something and be lacking in the actual talent? And lord knows I could never be a rapper. I yearned for a way to connect with an audience through music so I opted to become a DJ instead. It was perfecto, I could pick music and lyrics that touched me and still watch a crowd react to it, relate to it and just vibe with me. It was the closest thing to performing in an actual venue and watching people sing-a-long as I was ever going to get. But clearly that never worked out lol. However, I’m thinking of getting someone to teach me just for the fuck of it. What do you all think? DJ Lex-Dub in the Houuseee…chika chika…yeah…

Anyways…all in all, it turned out to be a great night. Minus the fact that it was Tuesday night which means all the normal people were at home and the club was full of models. And they happen to be just as skinny, just as tall, and just as flawless as they are in the magazines. So don’t believe that ‘if it weren’t for photoshop…’ hype. Just step ya game up. I know I am ;] Afterwards Bella said to me…”You’re just like me, you go to the club to dance”. Ya damn skippy. I stood on the couch dancing majority of the time. I don’t mind meeting new people at the club but socializing isn’t really my main objective. I come to spend time and bond with the love of my life. Music.

A brief stop at White Castle at 4 in the AM cured my late night drunken munchies but I def paid for that the next day. Ew. Then I hit a blunt and took my ass to bed. Didn’t really flick it up like I wanted to but it’s hard remembering to take pictures when your wasted! Geez, what do you people want from me?!!
