six inch walker, big shit talker

I was browsing through my pictures from my visit to New York because I was missing my big sister, Liana and came across the photos I snapped from the mini fashion show at her job. My sister works as the stylist at ArtsEcho Galleria , a boutique that specializes in vintage designer clothes and accessories so of course when they threw a fashion show, she got a chance to work her magic. I’m very proud of my big me and although she’s been my personal stylist since I was 13, it’s still exciting to see her visions come to life in editorials and fashion shows. Here’s a few of my favorite looks from the show.

(The detail in this Valentino Dress was so amazing that the model actually owns it now.)

And last, but definitely not least, my beautiful big sister, best friend, protector, advisor, world, in this sexy vintage romper. Isn’t she gorgeous guys? Be sure to check out her blog to stay up to date about her up and coming projects and the online store she’s opening soon :] And also, to those of you in the tri state area, this Friday, the 9th, ArtsEcho Galleria will be celebrating their 2nd anniversary which means 35% off all their amazing merchandise! They’ll also be having a special raffle to one lucky prize winner at 7 pm so make sure you’re there!

The Chronicles of Alexis & Bretony (Part Two)

As usual, me and Bretony never have solid plans when we meet up. We kind of just… go with the flow or go on our own little dummy missions. Which is what I love about her. Our night started off with drinks at Applebees in Times Square but neither of us were satisfied with that and wanted more, so we somehow made our way to dinner at Juliet which quickly went from supper to a club. I know a lot of clubs are restaurants by day but I’ve never seen the tranformation happen. It’s smooth! Anyway, all in all, we had a good night filled with shots, lapdances, subway adventures and breaking day after swearing we weren’t going to stay out. Don’t mind our regular ass attire; we had no idea we were going to end up at a club. So long New York.

As always, you can find more on my flickr.

I love this record baby, but I can’t see straight anymore.

My birthday went nothing like I planned but hey,  I can’t complain much. I’ve learned to stop making plans with people because people are unreliable and will only let you down. I just go with the flow now. AND I still ended up surrounded by beautiful people in a beautiful club in the most beautiful city in the world.  It’s all gravy baby, life’s lovely.

The crowd wasn’t exactly my scene but the club was amazing; you got the most incredible view of New York from a wall/ceiling that was made of windows -  dope!

I just remembered this guy was cute! At the time, I thought my vision was blurred by alcohol so I didn’t give him my number but now I remember that he actually was cute! Ugh, another one bites the dust. Unless any of you recognize him. I’m just sayin. Lol.

Happy Birthday To Meee!

Finally 21 ;] The best part of your birthday is seeing who doesn’t hit you up to wish you a happy one. It’s no deal breaker, but it definitely matters. It’s the day you came into this world, and a day all of your loved ones should appreciate and want to celebrate. Birthdays are always important to me, and I always make sure to let my friends and family know just how glad I am that they were born on their special day. Other than that, the gifts, and the partying, that reminder of being one year closer to death can get super depressing and you start realizing just how short life is and how much you want to do. If you are over 21, what do you wish you could have told your 21-year-old self? If you are under 21, what do you want to have accomplished or figured out by the time you hit that age? And if you’re in New York, come see me tonight. Follow me on twitter to find out what club I’ll be at.

An anonymous little birdie once left a comment on Bretony’s blog when she first made her move to the Big Apple ‘doesn’t alexis belon live in jersey?? you 2 should join forces!!’. Well anonymous little birdie, you should be happy to find out we have, and we’re officially planning our world take over. Starting with New York City. Muhahahaha…
